What was your most significant flattener(s) from Tom Freidman lecture regarding his book, The World is Flat?

The most significant flattener and Tom Friedman lecture was the invention of Netscape although there were other flattener is that were important this one set the bar for all the others. Netscape invented the Internet August 9, 1989. Due to Netscape inventing the Internet the .com bubble happens, that was when the United States investors started to lay fiber-optic cables across India and other parts of the world. When escape really did was bring people closer together. Due to Netscape inventing the Internet it brought all the other flatter together. For example in the early 1990s when apps could connect with other apps and increased workflow and create a platform for the other flatters


I believe Tom Friedman's flatters are correct and are quite interesting. even though I believe there are more flattener's then he points out. For example the invention of little things. that happened way before our time like the invention of electricity ,wheel, and farming.
