Homework 2
What was your most significant flattener(s) from Tom
Freidman lecture regarding his book, The World is Flat?
The most significant flattener and Tom Friedman lecture was
the invention of Netscape although there were other flattener is that were
important this one set the bar for all the others. Netscape invented the
Internet August 9, 1989. Due to Netscape inventing the Internet the .com bubble
happens, that was when the United States investors started to lay fiber-optic
cables across India and other parts of the world. When escape really did was
bring people closer together. Due to Netscape inventing the Internet it brought
all the other flatter together. For example in the early 1990s when apps could
connect with other apps and increased workflow and create a platform for the
other flatters
I believe Tom Friedman's flatters are correct and are quite
interesting. even though I believe there are more flattener's then he points
out. For example the invention of little things. that happened way before our
time like the invention of electricity ,wheel, and farming.
